Thought these were double knit socks but not the case, single knit. They are nice and warm and cosy, they feel like fluffy socks inside but outside like knit socks. Not as warm as my fluffy socks but still really nice socks in a good range of shades and style. Shame there are no blue or green ones as i prefer those colours dont do dull socks. Make a nice present for a cold feet person. Sadly my feet are like blocks of ice and these are not warm enough for my cold tootsies
